Description Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-01-16 13:41:24 UTC
It would be nice to have "just my code" support for catchpoints - so catchpoints are ignored if there are no user code frames between the throw and the catch. This would prevent users getting confused about internally handled exceptions in Mono.
Comment 1 Mikayla Hutchinson [MSFT] 2013-01-16 13:41:45 UTC
Zoltan, how difficult would this be?
Comment 2 Zoltan Varga 2013-01-16 14:28:31 UTC
Its doable. Wouldn't it be easier for md to just check whenever the exception was caught in user code, and continue otherwise ?
Comment 3 Jeffrey Stedfast 2014-06-11 16:04:25 UTC
how do we check if it is caught in user code?
Comment 4 Zoltan Varga 2014-06-11 16:52:28 UTC
md has functionality to check whenever an assembly is 'just my code' or not, that needs to be applied to the method on top of the stack.
