RESOLVED FIXED

Description Jonathan Pryor 2012-11-15 11:55:53 UTC
The ${ProjectConfig} external tools "property" contains an extra '.'.

MonoDevelop version information:

Git revision: Release ID: 40000000
809a9337ae2b5903fec7025fc900f0dff001c98c

Repro:
1. Open Preferences > Environment / External Tools
2. Click Add
    Title: Echo ProjectConfig
    Command: echo
    Arguments: ProjectConfig=${ProjectConfig}
3. Click OK
4. Click Tools > Echo ProjectConfig
5. Look at the Application Output window:

Actual Output:

> Running: echo ProjectConfig=Release.
>
> ProjectConfig=Release.
> Process 'echo' has completed succesfully

Expected output: No '.':

> Running: echo ProjectConfig=Release

Workaround:

To get "Release" instead of "Release.", ${ProjectConfigName} should be used.
