Description Brett van Swelm 2012-11-14 13:18:50 UTC
Mono MCS rejects some elements of COM interop assemblies ("not supported by the C# language").

With "D:\Applications\Mono-2.11.4\bin" and
"C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.30319" in the path on my Windows 7
machine:

===== NotSupportedError.cs =====
using System;

public class NotSupportedError {
    public static void Test(Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.Range r) {
        System.Console.WriteLine(r.Value);
    }
    public static void Main(String[] args) {}
}
===== end =====

The assembly below is from MS Visual Studio 10.0. I'm unsure if I have rights to distribute it as part of this reproducer.

$ csc /noconfig /reference:"C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Visual Studio 10.0\Visual Studio Tools for Office\PIA\Office12\Microsoft.Office.Interop.Excel.dll" NotSupportedError.cs
