Description t9mike 2012-11-08 17:38:46 UTC
Equivalent of these seem to be missing from UITableViewSource:

didEndDisplayingCell
didEndDisplayingFooterView
didEndDisplayingHeaderView
didHighlightRowAtIndexPath
didUnhighlightRowAtIndexPath
shouldHighlightRowAtIndexPath
willDisplayFooterView
willDisplayHeaderView

Especially useful for me now are the highlighting methods, as I have a custom table cell that I want to change the colors when a user presses down (vs. have to wait for the full selected stuff).

I was able to add the bindings I needed to MonoTouch.Dialog's UITableViewSource sub-class:

            [Export("tableView:didHighlightRowAtIndexPath:")]
            public void DidHighlightRowAtIndexPath(UITableView tableView, NSIndexPath indexPath)
            {
                Console.WriteLine("didHighlightRowAtIndexPath");
            }

            [Export("tableView:didUnhighlightRowAtIndexPath:")]
            public void DidUnhighlightRowAtIndexPath(UITableView tableView, NSIndexPath indexPath)
            {
                Console.WriteLine("didUnhighlightRowAtIndexPath");
            }

I'd still love to see all the new iOS6 bits in UITableViewSource.

They new members exists inside UITableViewDelegate but they were not added to UITableViewSource*.

* it does not exists in iOS (it's MonoTouch specific). UITableViewSource _should_ be UITableViewDelegate + UITableViewDataSource (so it's an bug in the bindings).
