Description Stuart Carnie 2012-11-06 14:21:27 UTC
Tried with MonoTouch 6.0.4 / MonoDevelop 3.0.4.7 and MonoTouch 6.0.6 /
MonoDevelop 3.0.5.

error CS0281: Friend access was granted to `System.Net, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e', but the output assembly is named `System.Net, Version=0.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null'. Try adding a reference to `System.Net, PublicKeyToken=7cec85d7bea7798e' or change the output assembly name to match it

Steps to reproduce:

1. Check out: https://github.com/scarnie/MvvmCross
2. Ensure you're on vNext branch (default)
3. Open MvvmCross_All solution
4. Ignore errors for Android and Windows builds
5. Find the System.Net.Touch project
6. RMB and Build

This error will occur.

That was, most likely, due to the strong naming change [1] we did in 6.2 (if the binary was used in 6.0.x).
