When a file is updated outside the IDE then tab text turns blue. Nice touch :)
However when the file is updated several times the markup is added, over and over again, resulting in a very long tab (hiding all the others) and not even blue anymore ;-)
See attached screenshot.
How do you reproduce that?
My use case was simply 2 open monodevelops - but I couldn't get that one. I always get the reload message at the top - when changing the file the IDE don't change.
When I hit reload (or not) the tab becomes black again. Additional changes then start that all over.
This happened with:
* a file opened in MD that was not part of the current solution;
* several checkout of GIT to track a regression (affecting the mtouch.cs file, not the MD solution)
I _might_ have ignored the "reload message" (a few hours) earlier - I can't recall for sure. Also the Window menu shows the extra long (markup) name, not just the file name.
Can you reproduce that ?
It happens from time to time (it's not common) but I don't have a receipe to reproduce it on demand. The only common thing I'm sure of is that it's related to GIT checkouts.
Sometimes looking through the source code helps :). The bug was related to the window main menu popup.
(that thing that shows the list of all open files)
