RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 8058

Description Rodrigo Kumpera 2012-10-26 16:52:29 UTC
In self_suspend_internal we sleep indefinitely if we detect that a shutdown is in progress. The problem with that is that we livelock if this happens on the main thread, which is responsible for coordinating the whole thing.

We need to extract a test case first, which sounds quite daunting.
