Description legomaster5000 2012-10-04 11:58:47 UTC
Attempting to package the Gtk# libraries into an executable when you compile file(s) from the Mono command prompt will return an error for metadata file not found. The missing files are all located in the Gtk# directory of Mono. The missing files are:
glib-sharp.dll
pango-sharp.dll
atk-sharp.dll
gdk-sharp.dll
gtk-sharp.dll

I am unable to submit a test case, as this seems to be the installer. It is not a program fault as I have tried this on multiple files, all of which run successfully via MonoDevelop. I have deleted and redownloaded the installer multiple times and it is unable to create the files. I am expecting a compile complete message, instead the exact output that comes out is:
error CS0006: Metadata file 'C:/PROGRA\~2/MONO-2\~1.8/lib/mono/gtk-sharp-2.0/pango-sharp.dll' could not be found
