Description Martin Wiboe 2012-09-27 09:48:44 UTC
The Name property of any ABSource object always contains an empty string (with the exception of Exchange sources, where the property is always "Contacts")
I believe that the property should contain the name of the source. The name is shown in the Contacts application for linked contacts (eg. opening a contact that is also linked to Facebook will show "Facebook" under Linked Contacts)

How to reproduce: loop through all ABPerson records in an ABAddressBook, for each record output the contact.Source.Name property.

Sadly the information you seek is not available from any public API [1].

MonoTouch ABSource.Name returns the value for `kABSourceNameProperty` (which is the only information exposed at the moment). If/when Apple provides a way to get this information then we'll be adding it to MonoTouch asap.
