Description Eric Maupin 2012-09-18 13:59:05 UTC
When you get an error like this:

Exception while loading assemblies: System.IO.FileNotFoundException: Could not load assembly 'System.IdentityModel, Version=3.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089'. Perhaps it doesn't exist in the Mono for Android profile?
File name: 'System.IdentityModel.dll'
   at Monodroid.Tuner.MonoDroidResolver.Resolve(AssemblyNameReference reference, ReaderParameters parameters)
   at Xamarin.Android.Tasks.ResolveAssemblies.AddAssemblyReferences(List`1 assemblies, AssemblyDefinition assembly)
   at Xamarin.Android.Tasks.ResolveAssemblies.AddAssemblyReferences(List`1 assemblies, AssemblyDefinition assembly)
   at Xamarin.Android.Tasks.ResolveAssemblies.Execute()	Sample

It's extremely unhelpful if you are not the one referencing this assembly. The error should display the entire stack of where the reference came from, like:

Referenced by:
OtherLibrary.dll

I believe we fixed this issue by showing the assembly reference tree on the build output.
