I have put an xml file which I need to read from in the application directory. I have made the File as a content and given the property to copy always which I assume will copy the file into the application folder when I try debugging it on the emulator. Then I use the following code to get all files present inside the application folder and all I see is it returns empty without any files in it am I doing something wrong or is this not working at all?
When I was chatting the admin suggested me to report this as a bug.
string path = System.Environment.GetFolderPath(System.Environment.SpecialFolder.Personal);
DirectoryInfo In = new DirectoryInfo(path);
string AllFiles = string.Empty;
foreach (FileInfo f in In.GetFiles())
AllFiles += "," + f.Name;
The string "AllFiles" is empty when it comes out of the foreach loop.
Can you show the contents of the System.Environment.GetFolderPath(System.Environment.SpecialFolder.Personal)?
And whether you have files stored there at all?
