MD shows Press shift+space for focus for all comments.
I do not understand this bug report, where does MD show "Press shift+space for focus for all comments", and what makes this a bug?

It's a feature that allows to scroll inside the tooltips - that was requested some time ago. Ok for empty tooltips I shouldn't show it.
I fixed the part with the empty text.
Is this feature documented anywhere ? How can I use it ?
the feature isn't documented - you just have to press shift + space - that's all.
(ok: somehow this doesn't work anymore on my mac ... seems that somebody played around with the keyboard input :( )
Reopening as I have no idea what it should do and it still does nothing on my machine.

Pressing shift-space when the tooltip is visible throws an NRE now.
We should fix this or remove it.

The NRE causes a crash.
how did you get the NRE ?
It's crashing, yes but shift+space didn't work for me ... the key input system is badly broken/needs work, the shift modifier wasn't given to the text editor - was filtered out before, at least on mac. That's why you shouldn't have come that far.
I now use the F2 key for it - because that is the key eclipse uses. It's a feature taken from eclipse and I don't think it hurts - we should take eclipse users serious - java is a big market and eclipse is the most widely used IDE.
Now it's fixed & key changed to F2.
We have verified this issue with MonoDevelop 2.8.5 and MonoTouch 5.0.4,it is not throwing an error after pressing 'Shift+space' when tooltip appears.
So kindly close this issue.
