Description Michal Dobrodenka 2012-08-20 06:09:33 UTC
Stock Services sample - doesn't work in Release mode. Activity shows only black screen.

(And also Debug & Release configurations are not set to deploy ?!)

Tested on Win7, Samsung Galaxy S2, VS2010, MD 4.2.5a

I was unable to reproduce this on a number of devices, it does occasionally take a few seconds to load stock information but it always shows up. Also rotating the device will destroy the context and as a result fire a new WebRequest, which will also result in a blank screen for a while.

I have gone ahead and set the Debug and Release configurations to Deploy in VS. If you are still able to reproduce this on a recent version of Xamarin software please reopen this bug with attached logcat output.
