RESOLVED FEATURE

Description Waigo21 2011-09-06 14:12:35 UTC
"The new search bar has improved handling of the case mode. New searches start in case insensitive mode. If an upper case letter is typed, the search automatically switches to case-sensitive mode, and remains in this mode from that point on (until the next search)."

I should say, this is so stupid.
Sometimes I just copy & paste the class name to search, then it turns to the case-sensitive mode. In this situation I didn't realize that I have 'typed' the upper case letters.
And the 'next search', means that you have to close the search bar and Ctrl+F again. Well, can I start a new search by hitting the backspace?

Please, remove this stupid feature. You guys may add an case-sensitive checkbox there, OK?

No the 'next search' without upper case letter is not case sensitive.

If that feature is stupid or not is hard to decide - personally I don't know it and I would not except that behaviour. But once used to it I've admit that this feature is more cool than harmful.
