Project

With the latest official MonoTouch (MonoDevelop 3.0.3.5) and iOS 5.1 (9B176) on the simulator:

Set breakpoint in CheaterViewController.cs:141 (call to AllocAndEnqueueBuffers()).

Run with debugger.

Click on "Cheat", wait a few seconds.

Click on "Disconnect".

Click on "Assist".

This is where the breakpoint should hit. Sometimes it works, other times the app seems to suspend like it should, but MonoDevelop doesn't show the breakpoint hitting.
Comment 1 Zoltan Varga 2012-09-14 11:24:01 UTC
The app hangs because the debugger tries to suspend all threads, and there is a thread called AQThread, which receives the interrupt signal, but sigusr1_signal_handler () ignore it, because 'thread'/'domain' is NULL, it looks like TLS doesn't work in some async signal handlers.
Comment 2 Rodrigo Kumpera 2017-07-12 23:51:52 UTC
iOS suspend no longer uses signals. This should work now.
