Repro project

Tried with both auto formatting on and off.

http://screencast.com/t/deptMRxhhW6t

1. Open Events.sln
2. Enter AppDelegate.cs
3. Move the cursor to the end of the whitespace in HandleOpenURL
4. Press Shift+Up to select all whitespace up to the end of the top brace
5. Press delete
Notice that the two braces below the selected lines also get removed

Tested on MD 3.0.3.5

I can't repro, unfortunately.

Downloaded the test case and deleted the same lines and had only the two lines selected deleted.

I can repro it

The thing is that you need to be a bit creative - 'delete' can mean backspace - in this case that's true.
Another thing is that users use different options. For that bug the 'insert matching bracket' option needs to be turned on.

When trying to repro bugs I recommend turning on as much options as possible :)

btw. bug is fixed. @erik: Your screencast was very helpful.
