Description PJ 2012-07-24 14:00:04 UTC
When xcode takes a while to start up (for instance, on first run), monodevelop throws a TimeOut exception.

MonoDevelop.MacInterop.AppleScriptException: Xcode45-DP3 got an error: AppleEvent timed out.

After re-trying to open the .xib a few time (and Xcode 4.5 DP3 freezing), MD crashed with an apple report: https://gist.github.com/3171015

MD 3.0.4
MT 5.3.5
Xcode4.5 DP3

Expected behavior:

Dialog appears, allowing the user to retry, wait another set amount (before re-showing the dialog), or cancel.

Filing as enhancement.

This has been improved, it could probably still be better but with the iOS Designer taking over, I'm not sure this is worth our time.
