The devices reported had iOS 5.x.

I can reproduce the issue on an iPhone 4 with iOS 5.0.1 and an iPodTouch with iOS 5.1

This issue does not occur on the iOS 5.1 simulator.

The fix for bug #6172 fixed this one too.

Today with the latest builds:

XS 4.0.2.22
MT 6.2.1.201
Mono 2.10.12

And now this issue does not exist, as now the send button gets enabled after entering the message.

Hence, closing this issue.
