Sample Project

The Toolbar associated with a Picker in Xamarin Forms on iOS will display in an incorrect location after the device is rotated. There are two scenarios that exist.

Scenario 1:
1. Start in Portrait orientation.
2. Navigate to the page containing the Picker.
3. Tap on the Picker to open it.
4. Rotate the device to Landscape orientation.

Expected Results:
The Toolbar is located immediately above the Picker.

Actual Results:
The Toolbar is no longer visible.

Scenario 2:
1. Start in Landscape orientation.
2. Navigate to the page containing the Picker.
3. Tap on the Picker to open it.
4. Rotate the device to Portrait orientation.

Expected Results:
The Toolbar is located immediately above the Picker.

Actual Results:
A gap exists between the Toolbar and the Picker.

The attached project can be used to duplicate the problem. It contains a page with a button that navigates to a page that contains a Picker. When testing, take care that the desired orientation is set before entering the page that contains the Picker as the initial orientation determines the behavior exhibited by the Toolbar.

In our testing, we have found that the problem occurs on iOS 11.2.5, but not on 10.3.3.
