Description Jon Douglas [MSFT] 2018-01-24 21:04:16 UTC
*Description:

When using the designer surface to modify android:text, if you double click on the View, it will allow you to "Automatically link text to new resource" via "Shift+Enter".

This however does not seem to do anything, nor does highlighting the string first and then issuing the command:

*Reproducton Steps:

1. Open a new layout
2. Add a control with the android:text element such as a button to a linearlayout
3. Double click on the button and you'll see the suggestion
4. Attempt the suggestion and notice that nothing was added under the /Resources folder
