Description Lawrence 2017-12-07 22:33:42 UTC
The iOS simulator for Windows appears to disconnect when tapping inside the simulator to interact with the app. I was getting this on the latest version of Visual Studio 15.5 Preview 5 and the Mac is running XCode 9.2. The simulator that I am running is iPhone 8 running iOS 11.2.

Steps to Reproduce: Load any iOS app on a Windows machine running Visual Studio 15.5 Preview 5 and connected to a Mac Agent running XCode 9.2 in the simulator and attempt to tap on the app when loaded.

Actual Results: The simulator will go black and show a spinning loading indicator.

Expected Results: The app should still be visible and the tap action should trigger any action in the app code.

My apologies, the release with Xcode 9.2 support took longer to ship than anticipated. If you update to the latest stable release (1.2.2.32 i believe), things should work as expected with Xcode 9.2.

Thanks Alan, switching to the latest stable release has resolved the problem!
