I'm working on a Xamarin.Forms mobile app, with a page that has a ListView.
I'm trying to access one of the ViewCell's in the ListView, and then update content inside that ViewCell right after the page loads.
In iOS it works fine. But in UWP, I cannot affect any views within a ViewCell.
I've also posted a Stack Overflow question here: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/47166320/xamarin-forms-uwp-cant-update-view-within-viewcell-works-in-ios
I've attached a sample project where the problem is reproduced (again you can see that it works fine in iOS, but not in UWP). Note that the sample project includes a workaround for Xamarin bug #60033 (see https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=60033), which is related to the SetupContent() method override. I'm wondering if it has anything to do with that.
If you meant to attach a project, there isn't one just yet.
Oops! Thanks for the heads up. Here's a link to the project: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1TptFK0O1hICRofB3QHHvwr-ZZGRxRasU
I'm trying the "paste text as an attachment" feature in order to include the link there, but it's broken - every time I submit it says something like "The attachment is empty..."
Added link to project in comment above - marking as NEW again.
This appears to be a different issue unrelated to the SetupContent one.
Hi Paul -
Is there a work around for this item as well?
The Issue935 UI Test in Control Gallery also reproduces this issue.
