We are facing the following logcat in the output window when fling action is performed for scrolling at first time in Xamarin Forms ListView in Android platform, which resultant to degrade in smooth scrolling (i.e., Scrolling gets stuck at some time). So, we suspect that this delay in scrolling arises due to the following logcat.
11-09 11:40:41.736 W/Mono (17380): The request to load the assembly mscorlib v126.96.36.199 was remapped to v188.8.131.52
11-09 11:40:41.737 D/Mono (17380): Unloading image mscorlib.dll [0x8c523f00].
11-09 11:40:41.737 D/Mono (17380): Config attempting to parse: 'mscorlib.dll.config'.
11-09 11:40:41.737 D/Mono (17380): Config attempting to parse: '/usr/local/etc/mono/assemblies/mscorlib/mscorlib.config'.
Xamarin Forms version: 184.108.40.2060
Step 1: Run the attached sample in Android platform.
Step 2: Open the Output window
Step 3: Now the ListView is loaded and lot of logcat is displayed in output window.
Step 4: Clear the logcat from the output window.
Step 5: Perform fling action to scroll.
Step 6: Note that above logcat is displayed in the output window and the scrolling gets stuck at this time.(Issue)
Step 7: After this, the logcat is not displayed in output window and smooth scrolling is occurred.
Can you please look into this and revert us the further details asap. We have attached the screenshot and sample too for your reference.
Also, can you please explain or provide a solution on how to clear this logcat if custom controls are used. Since, it was replicated in custom controls too.
Note: We have tested in all CachingStrategy of ListView and it is replicated in all scenarios.
