Description Sergei 2017-11-07 06:14:10 UTC
1) Create in storyboard navigation controller, some new contoller A and set A as root controller of navigation controller.
2) Create button B in controller A.
3) Create new controller C.
4) Ctrl-drag from B to C to create a segue.

Now navigation item is displayed in B but it can not be selected by click and isn't displayed in document outline too. Restart of Visual Studio or reload of storyboard don't fix this problem.

Hi Sergei,

Thanks for the report! I believe the behavior you're describing is expected. This is exaclty how Xcode Interface Builder functions as well. The NavigationItem is on controller A and that is where you can edit any settings. The display you see in controller C is just for visual display to show you what it would like at runtime.

If you think this is still an issue, please REOPEN the issue and let me know the details that I missed. Thanks!
