Hey guys, 
im having a problem trying to run my iOS project on a device. Im getting the error:

error HE0003: Could not load the framework 'CoreSimulator' (path: /Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Library/PrivateFrameworks/CoreSimulator.framework/CoreSimulator): not found.

Extra Info:

Xamarin Studio Community Version 6.2
Xcode 9.0
Latest version of every other component (mono, xamarin.android, xamarin.ios)

I checked the folder and the only file there is SimulatorKit.framework

Hi Jorge,

Can you open Xcode and make sure you can create a project with it? After updating to Xcode 9, it may need to be launched 1 time to initiate and install components.

The other thing that would be good to check is if updating to Visual Studio for Mac resolves the issue now that you have Xcode 9.0.

Im installing visual studio to check the same thing. Im gonna create a new project in xcode to see if that helps.

OK, so....

1) Creating a new project in xamarin studio dsnt help at all.
2) Visual studio fixes the problem.

It seems like xamarin studio is completly outdated now with the version 9.0 of xcode.

Hi Jorge,

Thanks for confirming my suspicion. VS for Mac is required for Xcode 9 support. I'll resolve this as that is expected. 

Note* I've filed a request that we add this to the iOS 11 documentation to notify users that may be using Xamarin Studio.
