360 team was blocked when I set them on the VS FRC testing last night.

I only have VS2012, so my issue is specific to that. They reported this: https://bugzilla.xamarin.com/show_bug.cgi?id=6005


So it doesn't seem to open at all. What are we doing wrong?

I have all of the files in C:\Program Files (x86)\Xamarin\FirstRunContent

Same deal as before - at least for VS2012.

http://screencast.com/t/EUj9cZHvNi is what I get immediately upon opening Visual Studio for the first time after install. I get the same second pop-up from comment 1 as well.


Any more info I can give you? I tried to show you the contents of the folder with the FRC content installed in this screenshot in case there might be clues. 

There might be an issue with it being in Program Files (x86) instead of just Program Files? Content out of date?

Be in touch about how I can help diagnose this. I'm having the team check the same with VS 2010. Do you have the VS2012 RC installed to test with?


I'm on a 64 bit Win7 and I tested with https://wrench.internalx.com/Wrench/ViewLane.aspx?lane_id=352&host_id=11&revision_id=37177 which was linked in our email discussion.
