Description Dhaval Patel 2017-10-10 06:49:59 UTC
We have created a ListView that is a child of Grid, below is the code Xaml Code.

<Grid Padding="10,10,10,10">
        <Grid.RowDefinitions>
            <RowDefinition Height="*" />
            <RowDefinition Height="40" />
        </Grid.RowDefinitions>

        <ListView
            ItemsSource="{Binding EmailWithList,Mode=TwoWay}" x:Name="EmailWithList" SelectedItem="{Binding SelectedEmailWith,Mode=TwoWay}">
            <ListView.ItemTemplate>
                <DataTemplate>
                    <ViewCell>
                        <Grid>
                            <Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
                                <ColumnDefinition Width="*" />
                                <ColumnDefinition Width="30" />
                            </Grid.ColumnDefinitions>
                            <Label Text="{Binding Name}" FontSize="15" FontAttributes="Bold" HorizontalOptions="Start" VerticalOptions="Center" Style="{StaticResource formLabel}" />
                            <Image Source="{Binding ImageName}" Grid.Column="1">
                                <Image.GestureRecognizers>
                                    <TapGestureRecognizer Command="{Binding Path=BindingContext.ImageSelectedEmailWithCommand, Source={x:Reference Name=EmailWithList}}"   CommandParameter="{Binding Value}"/>
                                </Image.GestureRecognizers>
                            </Image>
                        </Grid>
                    </ViewCell>

                </DataTemplate>
            </ListView.ItemTemplate>
        </ListView>
        <ctrl:ZCButton ButtonType="Orange" Text="{i18n:TranslateExtension Text=Btn_Update}" Grid.Row="1" HorizontalOptions="FillAndExpand" Command="{Binding UpdateEmailWith}"/>
    </Grid>

When we navigate this screen back and forth at some time application suddenly crashes. we have researched and found that it's because of memory leak in android.

Please help us out in this .

You have not specified a version. Have you tested your application with the latest 2.4.0 stable?
Comment 2 Dhaval Patel 2017-10-10 13:24:17 UTC

Hey,

i got the exact same Bug with iOS. Tested it on latest stable Version of Xamarin.Forms 2.4.0.18342

The crash always occurs on GestureRecognizer Binding. Tryed it with Code and with XAML. Always crashingon binding.
