Description jimrandomh 2012-07-06 09:06:08 UTC
Typing Shift+Enter in the text editor should insert a newline, the same way unmodified Enter does. Currently it does nothing. Most text editors do this, so when carrying over muscle memory, the subjective impression is of keystrokes being lost after lines that end in a shifted character (such as a brace or parenthese).

Atm shift+enter inserts a new line at the end of the line for me (and not at caret position).

Which OS are you using ?

Experimenting with this a little more, it looks like Shift+Enter is only broken (does nothing) if the "Use Vi Modes" option is enabled. (This is MacOS X, although I don't think that matters).

fixed.
