MTOUCH : error MT4109: Failed to compile the generated registrar code. Please file a bug report at http://bugzilla.xamarin.com
Error only seems to occur when building for a physical device. In this case against an iPhone 6 and iPad Air 2 - both running iOS 11 GM Seed.
If you want to use Xcode 9 then please install XI 10.99 (GM based preview) until XI 11.0 (stable) is out.
Otherwise you can continue to use XI 10.12 with Xcode 8.3.x
