Description Marek Safar 2017-09-04 18:10:10 UTC
I don't really know the underlying issue but you can reproduce it easily

1. clone https://github.com/marek-safar/mono/tree/corefx-bump
2. build mono

It crashes on Linux only see https://github.com/mono/mono/pull/5327

Starting program: /home/osboxes/git/mono/mono/mini/mono ./../../../class/lib/basic/cil-stringreplacer.exe --ilreplace=./../../../class/lib/basic/corlib.unsafe.dll.tmp ./../../../class/lib/basic/mscorlib.dll

It turned out to be an issue with overwrite of mmap data
