working repro with old XF
In my app the navigation bar should be orange and the Android status bar a darker orange (with white icons/text). This worked fine until XF 184.108.40.2066-pre6. But when I updated to XF 220.127.116.116-pre1, the status bar was white.
I attached the sample project twice. It's exactly the same code, once with XF 18.104.22.1686-pre6 and once with 22.214.171.1246-pre1.

the status bar how it looks with XF 2.4.0-pre1
I got a tipp in the forums that I should remove the statusBarColor=transparent from the values-v21/style.xml. This fixed the problem.
I don't know why it worked in previous XF versions. You probably just fixed a bug and now this theme setting is considered.
