A common scenario for me is to look for the alpha, or frame, of different visual elements. In order to do that I choose a visual element and scroll through the list of properties until I get the property I want. As you can imagine this gets pretty complicated if you have to repeat the operation many times. There the text-filter on top of the properties list is helpful, the problem is every time a visual element is chosen the filter is cleared. It would be very helpful to be able to enter a text, like "alpha", and keep that filter as different visual elements are chosen.
