ScreenShot

I was unable to use third party custom control inside MasterDetailPage. I have facing the following issue, when a component which supports swiping gesture is placed inside Detail page I was unable to swipe it from left to right. If you are trying to swipe means Master page only opens. How can I rectify this ? Whether Xamarin.Forms MasterDetailPage do not passes swipe gesture to third party components ? Suggest me on this?

Here I have attached the screenshot for reference.

Is this in fact occurring with 2.3.3 as is showing for the version? Have you happened to test this behavior against any of the latest stable, prerelease, or nightly builds? If it is still occurring with newer versions, a reproduction project is appreciated as well. I believe there may be a similar issue to this which was reported in the past, but would have to find it.
Comment 2 Paul Anderson 2017-06-13 12:30:26 UTC
I have tried latest stable version 2.3.4.247 but no use the issue persists. And I was unable to use packages older than version 2.3 while running it throws following error message "Xaml C task failed unexpectedly" I am using Visual Studio for MAC version 7.0.1(24).

Any update on this?
Comment 4 Paul DiPietro [MSFT] 2017-06-15 13:58:44 UTC
As stated before, a reproduction would be helpful here as well as whether you have tested against the latest 2.3.5 prerelease or 2.3.6 nightly build to see if it has been resolved. If you can isolate and reproduce the issue *without* the use of custom controls, that helps as well. We unfortunately cannot do anything more here without this. Please only change the status from needinfo when you can provide a reproduction. Thanks.
Comment 5 Paul DiPietro [MSFT] 2017-06-20 18:10:06 UTC
We are setting this to resolved/not reproducible as we don't have a reproduction to work with at the moment. If you find this issue is still occurring on the latest prerelease or nightly builds and can provide a minimized reproduction project as alluded to before, please reopen this and attach the project. Thanks!

I have attached the sample to reproduce this issue. Please run the sample and swipe the slider to move on its line. We can see that slider won't move. Instead the page will navigate.

On an initial test, the reproduction does display the behavior in question so I'll set this to confirmed, but as it involves a third party control we will need to investigate this further to determine the deeper cause.
