Description Matt Ward 2017-06-06 15:48:15 UTC
The credential dialog that appears when a NuGet package source's username and password are invalid has a few problems:

1) The username text field is not initially focused so you have to click inside it.
2) You cannot tab from the username to the password field.

You can get the dialog to appear if you create a new package source that needs a credential but either do not specify it or add an invalid one. Then open the Add Packages dialog and select that package source.

The code for this dialog is in the MacProxyCredentialProvider.cs

https://github.com/mono/monodevelop/blob/master/main/src/addins/MacPlatform/MacProxyCredentialProvider.cs

I tried a quick change to set the NextKeyView on the usernameInput, passwordInput and the alert.Buttons. Whilst that allows tabbing from the username and password text fields once you tab onto the buttons you cannot tab back to the text fields again.
