I'm also interested in this. I've read so many conflicting reports of whether or not Bitcode is enabled. I need it, and the build fails when I try to add it.

Comment 4 Andy 2017-06-07 13:32:37 UTC
@Manuel de la Peña . I inspected the project. @Saravanan only added the MtouchEnableBitcode flag to Debug|iPhone and Release|iPhone. I can confirm that they did not compile with error below:

error MSB4018: The "MTouch" task failed unexpectedly.
/Library/Frameworks/Mono.framework/External/xbuild/Xamarin/iOS/Xamarin.iOS.Common.targets(748,3): error MSB4018: System.InvalidOperationException: Bitcode is currently not supported on iOS.
Comment 5 Manuel de la Peña [MSFT] 2017-06-07 16:10:54 UTC
I missed that, let me take a second look.
Comment 6 Manuel de la Peña [MSFT] 2017-06-15 10:35:14 UTC
After double checking everything, I have to let you know that bitcode supports is only available on WatchOS and not iOS, that is the reason why you are seeing this.
