Building with Xamarin Forms has been a blessing but i only have an issue with the picker element. While previewing, the picker doesn't display the selected index text. I tried it manually and also by using the code <Picker.SelectedIndex>1</Picker.SelectedIndex>, still it's zerojoy...
What happens if you add the [Preserve (AllMembers = true)] attribute on the page containing the Picker and/or possibly adjust the linker settings? Do you notice any difference in behavior between Android and iOS? This may or may not be supported by the XF Previewer which I assume you're referring to.
Thanks Paul, I think the error is the TextColor property of the Picker element. It doesn't change as it's default color is white. When i change the background color to black, i could see the selectedindex text. i don't know why it's happening or maybe it's because i'm previewing with Gorilla Player.
We are setting this to resolved/not reproducible as we don't have a reproduction to work with at the moment. If you find this issue is still occurring on the latest prerelease or nightly builds and can provide a minimized reproduction project, please reopen this and attach the project. Thanks!
