I have two displays, arranged horizontally.  When I first started MonoDevelop 3.0.2 the window came up on the non-primary one, i.e. not the one with the menu bar, and it was much wider than that display.  My guess is it was as wide as both displays combined.

This is a pretty old one, and doesn't seem to be valid anymore.
