Description PJ 2012-06-13 13:44:35 UTC
Summary: When click on the option Install (Right click on Project/Solution Tools Install), a pop-up appears
and when we provide the path in that pop-up and click on OK button, it throws an error, i.e. An error has
occurred. “Error while executing command: Install…”.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Create a new project or open any existing project.
2. Right click on the Project/Solution Tools Install
3. Provide the path in the Install Project pop-up and click on OK button.
4. Observe that it throws an error, i.e. An error has occurred. “Error while executing command: Install…”.

Actual result: When click on the option Install (Right click on Project/Solution Tools Install), a pop-up
appears and when we provide the path in that pop-up and click on OK button, it throws an error, i.e. An error has
occurred. “Error while executing command: Install…”.

Expected result: It should install the project to the desired location. Although not clear about the same.

We have checked this issue and reproduce this issue with old previews stable XS 5.5.3(build 6). But now this issue is not occurring with current stable XS 5.7(build 661) as well as current builds XS 5.7.1.15. Here I have observed that When I provide the path and click OK button. I get nothing at provided location. I am not sure what is the functionality of this. Please let me some help so that I can check the functionality of this.

You can't reproduce the bug anymore, RESOLVING / CLOSING. The usage of Tools here might be worth discussing with somebody at some point, but is not the issue in question.
