I have this error after updated Xamarin.forms 2.3.5.235-pre2, I Hit it when building the App.Droid project. It says "XamarinBuildAndroidResourceRestore could not be initialized" and "XamarinBuildAndroidResourceRestore target not support the "VSInstallRoot" parameter".

same issue.
Other say it will be resolved when I update build nuget to 0.4.5 but that solution was not working for me.

Thank you for taking the time to submit the bug. We are unable to reproduce this issue using the latest Xamarin Forms preview (2.3.5.255-pre5) and Visual Studio 2017 version 15.2. Can you update to these versions to see if that clears up the problem?

If that doesn't correct the problem, could you please attach a reproduction to the bug by starting with a clean Xamarin.Forms project and adding just the code necessary to demonstrate the issue? We would very much appreciate it.

Because we have not received a reply to our request for more information we are closing this issue. If you are still encountering this issue, please reopen the ticket with the requested information.

Secondly, ensure you are on the latest version of Xamarin.Build.Download from NuGet as it will contain the most recent bits relevant to these targets.

Thanks!
