RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 5178

Description Martin Weißhaupt 2012-06-03 17:51:09 UTC
If you try to clone a git repository with the version control plugin without installing the git package shows an error window "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

It would be better if something like "Git is not installed!" would be shown to the user.

I believe this has been fixed as of May 31st as part of the fix for bug #5178. It should be in the next release of MonoDevelop, 3.0.3 or 3.1. Thanks for reporting this!
