Non-engineering team preliminary quick review
## Specific to one particular project, development computer, or target mobile device?
Thanks for the version info. It looks like the problem is most likely the following mismatch:
> Xamarin 22.214.171.1244
> *XCODE VERSION:
> Version 8.3(8E162)
Xamarin 126.96.36.1994 predates the Xamarin compatibility updates for Xcode 8.3 . You can get the Xcode 8.3 compatibility version of Xamarin in Visual Studio 2017 using the steps on .
## Considers the relevant log files for the part(s) of the process where something goes wrong (IDE editing, MSBuild building, deploying, launching, attaching the debugger, an in-app error, or something else), and has them attached?
If the Xamarin 188.8.131.525 update does not resolve the issue, please replicate the issue once more, and then (in the same instance of Visual Studio) collect and attach back the Xamarin logs files from "Help > Xamarin > Zip Logs". Thanks in advance!
## Other bookkeeping notes
### Already took up time for many users?
It seems not yet. At the moment this appears to be the only recent report (on Bugzilla, Stack Overflow, or the forums) of the MT1007 error popping up for a user.
## Makes development (a) difficult, impossible, or potentially hazardous, (b) moderately inconvenient, or (c) mildly inconvenient for users?
(a) or (b) The symptoms as described so far would at the least prevent the user from being able to use the debugger in the IDE to troubleshoot issues in their app. It might be possible to move forward with some development by manually launching the app on the device and using logging statements, but that would be at best still be a significant inconvenience.
