Description John Miller [MSFT] 2017-03-20 20:32:38 UTC
**Overview:**

XVS properties menu for iOS projects -> iOS Build -> Advanced still contains a checkbox setting for "Enable generic value type sharing". This feature is not supposed to be controlled by the user any longer and the UI should not have a setting for it. It's enabled by default and needs to remain on. Xamarin Studio removed this from the UI and for parity and correctness, VS should not have this setting any more.

**Steps to Reproduce:**

1. Go to the project Properties -> iOS Build -> Advanced tab of an iOS Project.

**Actual Results:**

There is a checkbox for Enable Generic Value Type Sharing

**Expected Results:**

No setting in the UI

**Build Date & Platform:**
