So, I'm running into this strange scenario where if I'm on a device with OS 7 (Android Nougat) and I set my phone on power safer mode and I launch my app, the splash screen shows up fine but then no content gets rendered after my app launches.
Normally, there is a slide carousel with static content like an image and some text. But none of that gets rendered on power safer mode.
Strangely, the app works fine when I switch back to non-power safer mode and the app works fine both in regular mode and power safer mode on Android OS 6 and under.
I'm wondering what's wrong with OS 7 + power safer mode that's causing my app content to not render properly?
I'm using Xamarin.Forms 2.1.0.
Can you update to the latest pre-release / release and test again?
Setting to NEEDINFO until further information on behavior when using the latest release is provided.
I can't update to the latest. We want to stay on Xamarin.Forms 2.1.0 until we get a stable build ready when we upgrade. There are other issues in Xamarin.Forms 2.3.3 we must fix first. I can try and give it a go but looking for a fix in 2.1.0.
Can this case be resolved/closed? It was fixed updating the layout.
Closing per Comment 4. Thank you!
