# Repro
1) Start with a *clean* machine - I have a brand new VM on XLab - I can give you access if you need it
2) Install latest d15 drop: \\cpvsbuild\drops\VS\d15rel\products\26205.00\bootstrappers\Enterprise
3) Start VS, create new iOS app, connect to XMA agent
4) Launch app for debugging

Actual behavior:
App get's launched on simulator but debugger never start. VS never enters debug more. It's almost as if I chose "start without debugging"

Expected behavior:
Debugger starts and connects to app

Today I have worked on this issue and below are my observations :

We are looking at this one.

In the meantime, the quick workaround is to install the Desktop workload. After that, Xamarin debugging should work ok.
Comment 3 Joaquin Jares 2017-05-23 14:02:14 UTC
According to mohit's comment, debugger works. This bug is for d15rel, though, and there's no new reports. I'm closing as fixed for verification.
