Property IsEnabled = "False" is not working in UWP platform if we load any custom view inside a DataTemplate
We have loaded a custom view(derived from Switch) inside a DataTemplate(as a ListView.ItemTemplate) and written a renderer for that custom view in UWP. In the renderer, we have set the custom view as a child to Border view(Since we have used Border view internally on our control) and set that Border view as a NativeControl(like SetNativeControl(Border)).
Also, I have set IsEnabled property for the custom view(derived from Switch) as "False".
If we set like the above cases, the custom view is still as interactive to the user which is supposed to be disabled since we set IsEnabled property of the custom view as false.
The same case works perfectly if we use any content control instead of Border. I have attached an issue reproduced sample for your reference.
Note: The issue is not reproduced in Xamarin.Forms.Android and Xamarin.Forms.iOS.
This will require further investigation but looks to still be occurring against the latest nightly as of this writing.
Thanks for confirming this a bug. When can this be expected to be fixed?
Any news on this?
