Narrator Automatically expands Frame Layout
• Windows 10.
• Version 1067.
• Build 14393.607.
Visual Studio and Xamarin:
• VS 2017 RC Enterprise.
• Xamarin For VS 220.127.116.110.
• Xamarin Inspector 1.0
Pre-Requisites: Build and Deploy Xamarin Application into Android Emulator
1.Launch Xamarin inspector.
2.Change To View inspector View(Select using mouse).
3.Navigate to the left pane which is having Layout options.
4.initially all options are in collapsed state.
5.Navigate using Caps Lock + Arrow to "Frame Layout" and do forward navigation and observe the Narrator announcement.
After Traversing through "Frame Layout" Narrator expands Frame layout and Navigates to Child items.
When Frame Layout is in collapsed state Narrator should Skip frame layout sub elements.
Users dependent on screen readers will think that they are working with parent list even though the focus goes to the child list
Cannot reproduce this. View inspector is now expanded by default, and using Caps Lock + Right Arrow to select items does not expand them. Selecting them and then hitting Right Arrow (without Caps Lock) expands them correctly.
This issue is no more reproducible. Hence closing the bug.
