Hi Lucy,
 Could you please try to move your MobileCenter initialisation to the OnStart event, as a workaround?

Usually these 2 lines..
MobileCenter.Start (typeof (Analytics), typeof (Crashes));
MessagingCenter.Subscribe<object, Exception> (this, Messages.ExceptionOccurred, OnAppExceptionOccurred);
