Description v-sukals@microsoft.com 2017-01-12 06:08:00 UTC
Repro Steps:
1. Launch Visual Studio RC 2017
2. Open File+New Project+Select "Crossplatform" from the Left Pane
3. Select "Cross Platform App"."New Crossplatform" window opens
4. Select "Blank App"
5. Press Ok button

8. Tab to the iOS App Name(Of Ex: App2.iOS)
9. Using down arrow key navigate to "info.plist" and press Enter Key."info.plist" tab appears
10. Select "Universal Icons" tab from left pane
11. Launch Inspect tool

Issue 1:
12. Using tab Navigate to "iOS 5,6" button under "App.Spotlight and settings Icons" heading
13. Observe "Name" property in inspect
14. Similarly observe "Name" property for the below buttons

iPhone @2x iOS 5,6
iPhone @2x iOS 7
iPad iOS 5,6
iPad @2x iOS 5,6
iPad iOS 7
iPad @2x iOS7
iPhone Spotlight iOS 5,6 Settings iOS 5-7
iPhone Spotlight @2x iOS 5,6 Settings @2x ios 5-7
iPad Spotlight iOS 5,6
iPad Spotlight @2x iOS 5,6
Spot light iOS 7
Spotlight @2x iOS 7

Issue2:
1. Navigate to the first button under "iTunes Artwork"
2. Observe "Name" property in inspect
2. Similarly observe "Name" property for the second button in the inspect

Actual Behavior:
Issue1:
1. Name property for iPhone @2x iOS 5,6 is defined as "iPad Spotlight @2x iOS 5,6"

2. Name property is empty for below buttons
iPhone @2x iOS 7
iPad iOS 7
iPad @2x iOS7
iPhone Spotlight iOS 5,6 Settings iOS 5-7
iPhone Spotlight @2x iOS 5,6 Settings @2x ios 5-7
iPad Spotlight iOS 5,6
iPad Spotlight @2x iOS 5,6
Spotlight @2x iOS 7

3. Name property is incorrect for the below buttons
iPad iOS 5,6
iPad @2x iOS 5,6
Spot light iOS 7

Issue2:
Name property is empty for both buttons.

Expected Behavior:
Name property should be defined correctly for all Buttons. Actual Name of the button and name property in inspect both should be same.

For the all buttons there is dimension information . It should be included in help text
For Ex: iOS 5,6 button has "72x72".

User impact:
Narrator reads incorrect results if "Name" property is not defined properly. User Rely on screen reader cannot identify correct Name of the control

"Universal Icon" tab item and buttons present under that are not available in the current version, hence closing the bug.
