RESOLVED NORESPONSE

Description Chris Hand 2016-12-29 21:09:24 UTC
This Xaml worked on Android, iPhone emulator, and UWP. When run as a Windows Phone 8.1 App on a nokia 521, none of the controls were displayed. Removeing the ContentPage.Padding tag allowed the controls to appear. Also tried specifying the WinPhone property using values "0,0,0,0" and "1,1,1,1". Neither approach worked.

  <ContentPage.Padding>
    <OnPlatform x:TypeArguments="Thickness" iOS="0,20,0,0"/>
  </ContentPage.Padding>
  <StackLayout>
    <Label Text = "What is your name?"/>
    <Entry Placeholder ="Name" />
    <Label Text = "What is your phone number?"/>
    <Entry Placeholder ="PhoneNumber" Keyboard="Telephone" />
  </StackLayout>
