this resolved bug and you do not yet see a matching new report.
When a workbook can't be opened, it is deleted without confirmation from the user.
Some workbooks are actual Zip files and can be opened directly.
I expect an error telling me that the file couldn't be opened and the leave the file for me to check the contents.
Deleting files without warning is unacceptable.
The current behavior should be that zipped workbooks are simply extracted and left so as a directory. We may revisit this behavior however.
If there is an actual bug here (and not just the behavior I mentioned), please attach logs to the bug report: https://developer.xamarin.com/guides/cross-platform/workbooks/install/#Reporting_Bugs
And if possible, attach the zipped workbook that was causing the issue.
This should be fixed in the upcoming 1.1 release. Zipped workbooks will extract to a temporary working location. The original file should remain untouched until/unless you save any changes.
